Bill was born and raised on Long Island, where he began his love of boating as a child. Out of college he started in the Marine industry as a Sales Manager for a national marine supply company here on Long Island. During that time, he obtained his 100 ton near coastal Captain’s license which he still holds today. After leaving the marine industry, Bill acquired over 20 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry working in both sales and operations for companies such as Autotrader.com, Kelley Blue Book and Manheim Auto Auctions, where he worked with some of the largest automotive dealer groups across the country. Wanting to return to the Marine Industry prior to Strong’s, Bill was a sales director for the world’s predominant marine online classified advertising company, where he helped manage marketing strategies for major boat dealers and yacht brokers across the country. In his spare time, Bill enjoys motorcycle riding and spending time on his boat with his family here on Long Island.
